For this piece, I imagined a full moon in a black sky with a few floating clouds in cool, glowing colors. Looking up at the moon reminds me that we are all God's creation. We are all together on His planet - visible to Him - and protected by Him. With all we may find foreign - and unknown - and to be feared, our omniscient God is intimately aware! I wanted this piece to bring comfort and rest in the assurance that God is ever mindful of our needs and has creation well in hand. "When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him?" (Psalm 8: 3-4)
