Death, Burial, and Resurrection

Death, Burial, and Resurrection

Death - the first part of the Easter triptych called "Death, Burial, and Resurrection". We see that Love came down and pierced the earth below through Christ’s sacrifice of crucifixion. In the background there is the symbolic shape of the Christmas tree; reminding that Christ came to earth to become our salvation through His ultimate death for our sin.

Burial - the second part of the Easter triptych called "Death, Burial, and Resurrection". We see a symbolic tombstone, a somber reminder of the wages of our sin.

Resurrection - the third part of the Easter triptych called "Death, Burial, and Resurrection". We see the representation of His joyous victory over death and ascension to heaven, a representation of the Holy Spirit who seals our eternal fate.
